flat heeled fetish

Over the past two years, I can count the number of times I’ve slid into my 4 plus inched heels.  You see,  I was banished from sporting those during my very complicated pregnancy.  Now that I’ve given birth and am raising a spirited, highly energetic little girl,  I can’t imagine chasing behind or carrying her in stilettos.  Enter the current focus of my shoe fetish….flats!  Although they don’t command the double take often garnered by leg extending heels, flats do possess a certain femininity.

I can’t put my finger on the moment blue + green became an affliction, but I now realize its prominent presence in my life.  Admittedly, my daughter’s 2nd birthday was coveted with the combo from decor to outfit.  According to pre fall lookbooks, my affinity is sure to blossom.
